Draco's silver eyes shone brilliantly againest the raising moon. The sun was setting causing the peace of night to take over the Hogwart's grounds. Night was Draco's favorite time. He had only just arrived to the lake and knew it was about 5 till 9pm. Pansy should arrive any minute, or so Draco hoped. He leaned againest a tree, a small backpack on the ground againest the tree as well.
Within the backpack Draco had a thermos of hot chocolate he had the house elves make about 5 minutes ago. He also had two Slytherin green and silver mugs. He also had a black fleece blanket with green snakes on it so the two of them could stare into the night. He had various other things in there as well, just incase they were needed.
He watched towards the castle, waiting for a sign of Pansy. He was getting slightly nervous, he wasn't used to waiting for people and he had never been on a date with his best friend since first year...

Pansy walked down from the castle, as much as she didn't want to admit, she was nervous. Draco had captured her heart in their first year, she had fallen for him. Might be wierd but she had never felt this much for a boy. He was her best friend as was glad he was she wouldn't have known what to do if he hadn't have been there with her. She looked perfect as usual but tonight she had made more of an effort, He meant alot to her and she hadn't been on a date with her best friend since first year.
She smiled when she saw him, he had made an effort for her. She couldn't help but smile, her hazel eyes sparkled in the light from the moon. "Didn't keep you waiting did I?" She didn't want to have kept him waiting for long.

Draco chuckled darkly at her question. His arms were folded across his chest as he leaned againest the large oak tree behind him. The growing moon shone through the leaves, creating patches of light along his features.
He was dressed simply, yet elegantly all at the same time. He wore a black cashmere sweater with a pair of faded muggle jeans. As much as he hated muggles and mudbloods, he did think they had a very good choice in fashion and could often be found wearing such garments. Over the summer between his 6th and 7th year at Hogwarts, Draco had pierced his left ear and sported a simple black stoned stud earring.
His eyes ran over Pansy, how she had grown up over the past two years surprised Draco all the time. He had to admit she was quite lovely now and pureblood to boot. "No, I haven't. I came a bit early anyway." Draco admitted in his usual dark tone. His piercing silver eyes watched Pansy as he continued to lean againest the tree.
After a minute or so of silence, Draco pushed himself off the tree and began to walk towards Pansy...

"Draco Malfoy turning up early. Never though i would see it." Pansy said with a slight smile, but Pansy couldn't talk she was usually late, espesically to classes. She was wearing a plain pair of tight jeans, and a black boob-tube, her outfit showed off her curvy figure. Well she liked the muggles fashion, even though she hated muggles and mud-bloods and not forgetting blood traitors. But Pansy only really like purebloods. She ran her fingers though her long dark hair, which at the moment was in ringlets.

Draco's silver eyes shone brightly, similiar to a snake or a cat's in the moonlight as he approched Pansy, backpack clutched in this left hand. A small smirk had spread over his face. "You look very nice tonight." Draco complimented, which was rare enough as it was. But Draco's mood the past few days had been very off from his usual self. As to why this occured, no one was really sure, but Draco himself.
Draco passed Pansy, a smirk still spread over his lips. Once he reached a perfect spot in the cool green grass, he unzipped the backpack and pulled out the large blanket. He placed it on the ground and sat upon it. He layed the backpack on his left side, on the edge of the blanket. He pulled the thermos of Hot Chocolate out and looked towards Pansy. "I figured it would be a bit chilly out, won't you join me?" He asked in a playful tone, still watching her...

Pansy watched him, as he pulled a blanket out from his back-pack, aww he had really thought about everything, she couldn't help but like him more, she smiled sitting down next to him on the blanket. "you've really thought of everything haven't you." She smiled, Draco was a nice guy really, well to certain people that is but thats what Pansy saw the good things about him.

Draco chuckled at Pansy's statement as he pulled two large mugs from his back pack. He pour a mug-full of steaming hot chocolate into it and handed it to Pansy. "I could never possibly think of everything, but I have managed to come pretty damn close." Draco responded in a dark tone. A breeze blew through the lake and surrounding land, causing Draco's free falling nearly shoulder lenght hair to be blown out of place, then neatly falling back again. Draco looked to the moon, a mysterious thing he had always found it to be...

Pansy smiled when she took her mug of hot chocolate from him, "Very close to thinking of everything." She glanced up at the stars and the moon, everything seem better in the light of the moon. Her eyes sparkled, they could easily rival the stars twinkling. She had always loved the moon, Pansy didn't know why it was one thing that she loved to see, it looked pretty and mysterious.

Draco took a deep breath of the fresh air surrounding the lake. He was at peace for the first time in monthes. I had nothing to think about, nothing he wanted to think about. A small reminder on his left forearm would always tell him of his past, a past no one would ever wish to keep. Draco looked towards Pansy, she looked splendid in the moonlight, but he wouldn't admit it aloud. "Why did you decide to come on a date with me?" Draco asked curiously as he looked back towards the cool, black surface of the lake. He knew only few of the mysterious surrounding that lake. Most things of Hogwarts remained as they were, a mystery...

Pansy glanced at him after glancing at the moon. awkward question she couldn't say what she really felt could she? "Your my best friend and we've been though everything together... And I've fallen for you." She couldn't take her eyes off him, she had meant everyword. she had fallen for him even though she had tried to resist. She pushed some hair behind her ear as she glanced back at the lake. She couldn't believe she just told him but she had meant it.

Draco chuckled lightly at her responce. He scooted closer to her on the blanket as another thick gust of wind blew over the lake. "I know I'm irresistable." Draco responded in a joking tone. He hoped Pansy wouldn't take it the wrong way, since the two of the always joked about things. He gave her one more smirk before looking over the black lake, with the reflection of the nearly golden moon reflecting on it's surface. "I'm glad you did." Draco said in a low whisper, just barely audiable and he wasn't even sure if Pansy had heard his last comment in the wind...

Pansy smiled, he was irresistable but she wouldn't admit it out load to his face. she sighed she had finally told him she had lost count of how many times she had tried but hadn't managed to tell him. she glanced back at the lake and the reflection of the moon, she had only just heard his last comment that was carried along in the wind. "I'm glad i did too." She said with a smile.

Draco chuckled darkly as he continued to scan the lake and the blackened horizon. "A trip to Hogsmade should be coming soon, as well as a ball I suppose." Draco stated at random. He was becoming quite known for the randomness in his comments, something that he had never done before this year. It surprised even him at how much more open his mouth seemed to be, though his thoughts still remained hidden within...

"Should be one, hogsmade is definatly not as good as it was, but depends on who you go with." Pansy said with a smile. She glanced at him "and as for the ball, its a matter of finding someone to sweep you off your feet."

Draco chuckled at Pansy's statements. "I have always quite enjoyed my trips to Hogsmade. Perhaps I always go with the right sort. As of for balls, they aren't something I fancy much, but I usally attend them all the same." Draco replied, his voice calm and cool. His silver eyes didn't look at pansy, but rather the deep mysterious lake...
